These Fire Island Hosta have brilliant yellow leaves accented by bright red petioles that continue into the base of the leaves. Although they are red during the spring, as the seasons progress they will eventually turn a beautiful chartreuse color by summer. Once they reach maturity their leaves will rippling effect. To maintain this Hosta's beautiful yellow color, keep in an area where there is bright sun during the morning, and shade for the rest of the day. If grown in too much sun the leaves will bleach out and burn. During the summer, Lavender blooms will appear and contrast nicely with the yellow foliage.
