A Ruby Loropetalum Shrub, also known as a Ruby Chinese Fringe Flower, in a 3 gallon container. This shrub thrives in zones 7-9 in full sun to partial shade. It can grow 4-5 feet tall and 2-3 feet wide. It needs moist, yet well-drained, soil and more frequent watering during the summer. This evergreen shrub produces bright pink flowers in April that turn a deep red/burgundy during the fall. It's a great addition to contemporary and Asian/zen gardens.
